During your Will writing appointment, David will:

- Get a detailed understanding of your wishes and then advise on the most appropriate way to achieve these, highlighting any shortfalls where applicable

You may know how you would like your Will to be structured and who will perform the various roles such as Executors, Guardians and everyone's favourite - Beneficiaries! Or you might not have a clue!
Either way, you will see that we are experts in explaining the various elements and roles within a Will that are pertinent to you, taking into account all the relevant laws & taxation that apply for your particular circumstance without explaining all the laws etc that just don't apply to you.
The upshot will be that at the end of your appointment, we will have all of the information we need to begin drafting your Will, ready for signing.
Generally, our clients know all the answers to the questions we ask during their appointment but occasionally there are one or two outstanding items such as the address of an executor for example which you can forward on to your consultant after the meeting.
Your Will writing appointment would typically last around an hour though we don't like to rush our clients and so we always allow 2 hours in case you have lots of questions that you would like answered.
